Created over a period of two years, the book is the first of its kind, shining a light on Melbourne's rich interiors with over 100 properties covered in a stunning 384 page book. Sure to become a collectors item, the initial print run of the book is limited to 2000 copies.

About the author

Kristine Slawinski

Kristine is an interior designer and heritage consultant and a strong advocate for raising awareness of Melbourne’s heritage interiors. Having spent around 20 years as a commercial interior designer, she then undertook postgraduate studies and completed a Master in Urban and Cultural Heritage at the University of Melbourne, for which she was included on the Dean’s Honour’s List and was awarded the inaugural Gabrielle Moylan Prize. Kristine wrote the text and contributed archival photo research.

Phil Campbell

Phil is a Melbourne-based graphic designer who specialises in book design and has run his own practice for over 20 years. As well as being commissioned by leading publishers to design non-fiction books, he works with a range of clients on publications and identity projects. Phil designed Melbourne Heritage Interiors, took the contemporary photographs (unless otherwise attributed in the caption) and contributed to photo research and manuscript development.
